Worthy Web 2.0 Tools for Your Review

The Web 2.0 world is comprised of a diverse community of creative and inspired entrepreneurs who continually seek to improve the online and social network experience.

Every few weeks, I invest a couple of hours sampling a collection of applications and tools I have come across in my daily reading.  Below is a list of “new to me” sites worth checking out.

 

Viddy is an app that can best be described as Instagram for video.  It’s an easy and quick way to create and share video with a community of users.  Here’s a link to an informative review of this application.

Engag.io consolidates your conversations across multiple social networks into a single, easy to use Web site.  Think of it as an inbox for social conversations.

PersonSpot allows you to quickly create and publish an online magazine with original and aggregated content about a specific topic.

Newsle finds articles about you, your friends and colleagues, and anyone else you care about and notifies you moments after they’re published

Grovo is a wonderful online portfolio of easy-to-follow training courses about Cloud-based technologies.  They’re training course about WordPress is particularly good.

SoundGecko converts a written document into an audio file that you can listen to on practically any MP3 player.  The company offers a “light” version for free.
